My interest in regulation began as a practising Solicitor acting for new entrants, incumbents and regulators in the liberalising telecoms and broadcasting sectors, with a focus on network access and interconnection, and the application of law to new technologies. Building on that experience, my academic research considers regulatory practices and their theoretical underpinnings more broadly. I am particularly interest in the UK Government’s Better Regulation initiatives and the constitutional implications of regulatory theory.
I am based at Jesus College, Cambridge where I am a Bye-Fellow. I provide supervisions in Constitutional and Contract law.
